One of the most important things that you must consider when looking into a meditative practice is to figure out what it is you are looking for in that meditative practice.
Meditation in itself is a way for you to find a structured practice that will allow you to find a peace within yourself.
There are many types of meditation. The most common type is where you are focusing on a person, place, thing or object. Other methods would be where you are blanking the mind.
Some meditation methods such as Transcendental Meditation or TM teach some very good meditation methods and practices, but it sometimes gets lost in the ritualistic, quasi religious fervor that that method brings.
Kundalini Meditation methods can also be very powerful, but again, sometimes the focus is placed too much on the spiritual end and not enough on the actual exercises.
What we have done with our meditation methods is to create meditations that will allow the practitioner to be able to maximize their overall potential in all areas of their life.
The real key to any type of meditation is to get the body and mind to relax. The more you get your body and mind to relax the more you will get out of the meditation.
Meditation is giving the mind an intent of something to do. You can meditate while you are jogging, riding a bike or even while you are driving your car. Many people find different ways to meditate so don't think that there is just one way to do it.
Although we offer the standard types of meditation such as lying down, sitting, standing and focus types of meditation, we also include important breathing exercises, postures and flow patterns that allow the body to get the maximum out of the practice.
